What time can I drop off and pick up my pet?
We are open 7 days a week 9am till 5pm for your convenience. You may check in and out during these periods. Please note - No extra charges for afternoon pick ups.

Which Vaccinations are required?
Dogs must have the kennel cough vaccination (c5).
Cats require the f3 vaccination.
A certificate or proof of vaccination must be produced on day of drop off or alternatively faxed through to (03) 9755 8174.

Do you want your dog to find a playmate while at diamonds?
We can find a friend but the owner must give us permission to play together.
Diamonds are reluctant to mix cats.

Do you want your dog to have fun swimming in our heated pool while on holidays?
Our experienced staff will supervise your dog while exercising in our pool. Swimming lessons are charged at $9 per session. Great fun in Summertime.

When should I book for kenneling?
Generally one week in advance, providing its not Christmas or Easter holidays, over these periods 3 months in advance is required.

What food do you feed?
Dogs receive a large variety of foods including fresh chicken, roo mince, cooked loaf and dry food. We have many other foods for the fussiest of eaters.
Cats receive fresh mince & a selection of whiskas wet foods as well as cat dry food. We also have a large assortment of other cat foods.
If you would like to bring your own food, we can give it to them, at no extra cost.

Are dogs cosy and warm at night?
All kennels are draft free and come with bedding but you are more than welcome to bring your own bedding as well as toys and treats.

Will my cat be warm enough?
We are very lucky at diamonds that our cattery is part of a house which keeps cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Will my dog be sad when I say goodbye at the kennel?
Your pet will be totally amazed at all the activity at the kennel and will be fascinated by all the new surroundings, sights and smells. Most pets have a great time.

My dog requires medicine/tablets while on holiday, can you administer it?
Of course, all in the service, and at no extra charge.

Do my pets leave their kennels/enclosures for exercise?
They certainly do, we have yards, so they can roam around, or alternatively can be walked.

Do you accept credit card?
We accept cash, efptos and all major credit cards except American express and diners.
